The adventures of Kanaraville.

I'd like to say that the months I spend away from Tyler are probably the most I get to see my family. Through out the summer were always taking quick little get-a-ways for the weekend. We run off to Vegas, Cali, or Southern Utah. This past weekend we headed to Kanarraville (You may be asking where the heck that is) and spend time at the cabin where we are out in the boonies! My grandparents, mom, her boyfriend, and his parents came up and spent the weekend there. Needless to say, I spent the whole weekend "gold hunting" with my grandpa Wally which took  A LOT of patience. Digging in dirt isn't my cup of tea, but I did it for his excitement. Other than prospecting for the big golden nugget, sleeping there is spooky. I am such a wimp that I slept with my grandma while my grandpa slept on a cot next to us. To my surprise, my grandpa Wally was such a scaredy cat! He woke up every 20 minutes asking "what was that?!" Any little noise the house made, he jumped up and grabbed his flashlight. All in all, such a fun weekend with good company!
Gold Prospectors

Had Wally's snake chaps on ready to dig!

The past year and four months in a nutshell!

Hey there blog world! Feels good to be back! My goal here is to try to wrap up the past year and four months as short as possible. From weddings, to newborn babies, to holidays, etc.... I can honestly say A LOT has gone on since a year and four months ago.

February - April 2011 : As many of you may know, Ty and I got married and were newlyweds. Adjusting to the new life had quite the challenges, but many wonderful new experiences as well. Ty and I loved the fact that we were married and on our own with no more rules! It took us a good to month to actually get used to sleeping together and not having one of us go home because of a "curfew". (no we didn't have actual "curfew" at ages 20 and 22, it was our Bishop who did this to us lol) Anywho, you could say I was very knew at cooking for the both of us, but Ty did a good job faking most of the time that my homemade hamburger help was "good and fulfilling". I can remember how excited I was to go to work and come home to my new cookbook I got from my wedding to try all the recipes. NOT. I used maybe the three simplest recipes out of there. Oh yea, I failed with the George Forman too... (yes. it was that bad) Moving on, Ty and I were super busy with school and work and it was tough cause we never got to see each other. I worked 8 to 5 while he was in school, then I would come home and he would have night school or work every night till midnight. The one thing we were grateful is that we were able to make using one car do-able with our hectic schedules. After a busy first semester for Ty and busy work schedule for me, our honeymoon came!!!

May - August 2011: Ty and I spent the first part of May on a carnival cruise ship. Our cruise ship was called Carnival Dream. Our director was the BEST I have ever had on any cruise I have been on. I don't remember his name, but he was Minnesota and had that terrible accent lol. Anywho, on our cruise, Ty and I had the opportunity to go to Belize, Cozumel, Honduras, and some other little island. Ty and I disliked Cozumel the most. Everyone talked it up like it was amazing, I guess Ty and I weren't too impressed. Belize had to had have been our favorite because being broke newlyweds, we used all the money we had on a great snorkeling adventure. It was pretty fun. Lots of drunk people which made it quite entertaining for two mormon kiddos. When we got to the reef to snorkel, I was pretty brave getting into the water. After about five minutes, Ty got sick of me clenching onto his arm and pushed me off and swam off on his own. Mean huh? lol. I was just hoping good ol' brucie wasn't commin to get me. After our snorkeling adventure, our tour guides drove us to a private island where there were hammocks to relax, canoes to row, and beautiful beach sand galore! Ty and I have a "ya had to be there" story involving a man with a canoe in three feet of water, but I won't go there... too long to share. Anywho, from the fun in the sun, late nights on the top deck, shows every night, and the people we met, this honeymoon was definitely one we will never forget. Oh yeah I almost forgot! Ty got called up on stage the first night and had a dance off. Too funny, but hey he faced his fear. There is always a first for everything right? Wow ok that was way too long, moving on! After our cruise, Ty went to Lousiana to sell security systems for the summer. I had the opportunity to go out mid June and visit him. Being in Louisiana felt good and bought back way too many memories. I had the opportunity to go to a Saint's game with Ty and our good friends Scott and Ashley, I got to go the big aquarium, I got the see the sad destruction of what Katrina did to the city, I got to visit family I had not seen in almost 11 years, and last, but not least, I got to go on an airboat and hunt some gators!! I love that Ty gets to travel for his job right now cause I love to travel the states! Furthermore, in July, I was blessed with a beautiful baby nephew. Kenneth Carter Reisinger is my pride and joy. It was probably one of the best events of the year when that little stinker came into my life and I am forever grateful for my brother Kenny and his girlfriend Jaynee to bring him into this earth. I don't think our families' lives would be the same without him. He has keep us smiling through the ups and downs thus far and it has been so fun to watch him grow.
The day I became an auntie. <3

September - December 2011: HOLIDAYS GALORE! When Ty came home, it was back to school and bring on the holiday pounds! Ty bought a BMW and it is such a fun car! He definitely deserved it with how hard he worked during the summer. Halloween wasn't too eventful for us. Besides getting fat off candy, Ty and I were boring and didn't dress up or celebrate the holiday at all. :( Thanksgiving was great. My grandparents came up for the weekend and we sat around and watched the Thanksgiving Macy's parade, ate a nice turkey dinner, and of course was up all night for Black Friday shopping ( which is dumb because none of us buy anything anyways lol). Christmas was spent with both of our families. Ty and I (well mostly me) spent way too much on both sides of the family, but it was great to see their faces when they opened their gifts. All in all, through out all the crazy holiday festivities, we made it out of the semester with A's and B's!
Tell me he isn't the cutest Woody you have ever seen?!

January - April 2012 : Our anniversary came and well you could say it wasn't too eventful. It landed on a Sunday so we went to the Draper Temple (where we were married) and did what all couples do.. take pictures and act like we are the happiest married couple alive hahaha. The best part about that day was we drug my little brother along to celebrate by going to Outback Steakhouse and enjoying the steaks that ended up being disgusting. In conclusion, it wasn't too romantic lol. Our semesters in school were pretty intense. Luckily it was Ty's last semester of taking an English class ever again and I was finally facing my fears and took Biology 1010 which I heard nothing but horror stories about. After a long hard semester, Ty and I came out on top.. STRAIGHT A'S baby!

Last week in a nutshell!

This past week had to be one of the most slowest, but most wonderful memory making weeks of my life!! Monday...Eh. Typical Monday where I work 8 to 5 then come home and clean lol. Tuesday was VERY productive! I worked then came home and finished ALL of the laundry. Ask Tyler, that is one chore I lack in finishing! Wednesday was my favorite day, well after work that is. You see, winds were horrible that night due to a storm coming our way (what else is new) and ther eis me, 6pm at home watching some television. About two hours later, I hear the furocious winds only to realize the power might go out. There I sat, alone, thinking, "shiz. ty isnt home, i have no emergency lights, and the only flashlight we have is no good when there is no bulb in it!" So my anxiety got to me and I opened every blind in the house thinking that I may get some light if the lights go out. About a half hour later, I hear someone breaking in my door to the bathroom. Enjoying my warm bath, I go "Hello? Tyler? HELLO? TYLER?! YOU BETTER NOT BE MESSIN WITH ME!" Yeah this had been goin on a good 4 minutes. I wasn't expecting Ty home because he usually doesn't get home till 12:30. So i jump up outta the water butt naked, only to see my husband burst open the door and go BOOO! Coulda killed him. But on the other hand, he got to come home due to a power outage at his work and we got to spend the night cuddling. One thing I couldn't understand that night was the bizarre rapping mood he was in. haha he makes me laugh. every sentence was a rap! Think that weather might have made him a bit kookoo. love him :) Thursday came a long and that day I had the opportunity to fight with and old woman about taking her off the call list. After telling her about 1.2 billion times that it wasn't in our control to remove her number or mailing address from the list, she still refused to understand that we CAN NOT take her off the list. Wtf? I went on for 20 minutes with her! She then said she was going to take legal action. I had to take a huge swallow cause I didn't wanna laugh out loud and said "ok mam. have a wonderful day". I couldn't help but laugh when I got off the phone with her! Do people here in Utah really have nothing better to argue about? Anywho, fun and interesting phone call! haha. Friday was the slowest day of my life and soon when the clock would hit 5 o clock pm , I would soon realize some thing I never had before! I CAUGHT BIEBER FEVER! Ok yes, he is a cute kid, but I hadn't been a big fan due to my age and I just though that mighta been gross if I was a die hard fan ya know? Anyway, back to the story, work was slow and I spent the whole day on facebook. (what else is new) I kept reading everyone status about Justin Bieber's move, NeverSayNever, and how it was such a life changing experience when they saw the movie. That's it, I knew I had to give in. The only person I knew that would see this with me would be my best friend, Katelyn Jordan. I texted her and it wasn't hard to convince her to go see it. She was down. My desire to see this movie was really only because I wanted to see his childhood life and whether he was born with this "natural" talent or not. IT WAS A HIT! Loved the moie! What a cute little boy he was. His mother seemed so sweet as well. But that best part of that whole movie experience was the end. As Kate and I were gettin our purses to pack it up and leave, I look over to my right only to see a little girl screaming as if she was screaming bloody murder. I look back at the screen and Justin comes walkin out with one more song. BABY! BABY!BABY!OOOHHHH! This is one of his jams I was familiar with. So Kate and I kinda plop back down in out seats, only to look back and see the whole theatre standing and dancing. Knowing me, I think, "what the hell, lets do this!" I grab kate and before you know it, were both standing up in a crowd filled with 10000 little girls, dancing and singing our lungs out! Anywho, after that, I got Bieber Fever! Didn't realize there was such a thing!! BUT THERE IS! My husband was highly concerned waking up to Justin's voice coming from the office. He then witnessed his wife watching one of his videos! YES! I AM GUILTY! hahaha. Anywho, Saturday night was easy going and calm. Ty and I spent the evening together shoppin and going to Olive Garden. The weekend was slow and relaxing. Just what Ty and I needed both! :) Well everyone that is my week in a nutshell! Just thought I'd share it all with you! xoxo tootles.

Steelers Vs. Packers=Victory for Packers!

This past weekend was Tyler and I's first superbowl together being "married". Wasn't too exciting because first off it was neither teams that Ty and I cared for much, but what made it worht it was the company we were with. Ty and I went over to his Aunt Jamies house where we stuffed our faces with chicken tenders, diet cokes, brownies, pies, ice cream, chips, etc..anything! You name it! haha I felt like I had gained 15 lbs. in those few hours I was there! Anywho, Ty and I enjoyed ourselves on a huge love sac having Sadie, the dog, nag at us all night long for food, watched Ellie suntan her baby doll's butt, hearing Garett complaining of a high heart rate due to his steelers loosing, grandma a little tipsy off of diet coke and Jamie crackin her sarcastic jokes. Made me realize how blessed I am and how blessed Ty is to have a family like ours. All in all, it was a great night. Tyler was rootin' for packers while everyone else was rootin' steelers. Due to Ty's good sportsmanship, there were no punches or even swings from anyone at the end of the game. haha. All in all, FUN DAY OF OUR FIRST SUPERBOWL TOGETHER :)

The start of our NEW family! :)

Hey everyone! Ok so I am very new at all this blogging and I promised myself that if I didn't scrapbook, blogging would be the way to do it! As you all may now, Tyler and I recently just got married on January 8th, 2011 in the LDS Draper Temple and held a ring ceremony and reception at Millenial Falls. I am so grateful I married my high school sweetheart. He is the best. Plus, I don't think many people can handle him, except for me of course! haha jk! Tyler is a very spontaneous man I would have to say. "FUN" is in his blood all the way. On the other hand, I am a very determined and I have a very powerful attitude. That's why I am a firm believer to the saying "opposites attract" because we are completely opposite. I tell him when its time to be seirous, and he tells me when to relax and enjoy life :) we mellow eachother out perfectly! Tyler and I have actually been dating for five years going on six so you could definitley say we have had our ups and down and I am sure we will have many more along the way! Tyler loves football and played all his years in highschool, while I danced on the high school Drill Team. Since my Junior year, and his Senior year, our lives changed. We have fought a long road and we just had the wonderful opportunity to promise to fight the long road for time and all eternity. We are making our first home in Pleasant Grove, UT while Tyler attends school at UVU for the firefighter/paramedic program. I am working full time for an Audiologist and I LOVE what I do!Anywho, I love Tyler with all my heart. He is my "home" away from home. Forever and Always. Pics of the wedding should be coming soon! Thanks everyone. I will post soon!
